The UK Gift Specialist uses Sage Pay to handle online payments. This means that The UK Gift Specialist does not hold the credit card details of customers. These details are processed and stored only by the SagePay system.
Sage Pay (previously Protx) uses a combination of established and innovative techniques to ensure the security and integrity of all sensitive data. Their internet facing web servers are certified by Verisign, which ensures that no third parties can impersonate Sage Pay to obtain secure information.
The transfer of less sensitive transaction details from the retailer’s site to Sage Pay is encrypted and digitally-signed. This ensures that the information passed is secure and tamper-proof.
Security for the Shopper
Any communication between the customer and Sage Pay is encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the customer’s browser. The customer is also protected from fraudulent use of their card, in a “card not present” environment, by their card issuer.
All data stored on Sage Pay systems is held on encrypted and highly secured databases. Sage Pay is regularly audited by Visa and MasterCard to ensure that their systems conform to the latest security standards.
3D Secure – Verified by Visa / MasterCard SecureCode
All transactions for 3D Secure cards have additional security. If 3D Secure applies to your card, you may be prompted for your password or, if you have not yet enrolled, you may be prompted to do so before you can complete the transaction.
Following processing of your order, an email will be sent to the email address which you entered at checkout. This email contains details of the items purchased and the price paid and is your transaction receipt.
We take care in packing your order. Orders are dispatched using our chosen delivery company – currently Hermes – and should arrive within a few days of the dispatch date. The exception is the Christmas period, where deliveries may take longer.
Your package label is also a delivery note which shows details of the items purchased.
Delivery to addresses on the UK Mainland is Free of Charge for orders of £60.00 and over (unless otherwise stated). For orders under £60.00, a delivery charge of £3.95 is made.
We are happy to deliver outside the UK and frequently do. However, our goods vary so much in size and weight that we cannot easily automate the calculation of delivery charge. If you are not fully satisfied with your goods, then you must advise us within 7 days of receipt of your purchase and we will issue you with a Return Authorisation Number (RAN). The goods should be returned in their original packaging and in a resalable condition within 7 days of us issuing you with the RAN. Please include your original Delivery Note along with the RAN. You will be refunded the value of goods ordered. Any delivery charge is NOT refundable.
Goods are checked carefully prior to dispatch and packed appropriately. They should arrive in good condition. If any item arrives in a damaged condition, please contact us immediately on 01355-232232. We shall discuss the matter with you and agree a course of action. Goods damaged in transit will be replaced without charge or a refund given on the return of the item(s).

Any discount will be applied at checkout.
Products shown as “In Stock” are available to order and are either in our warehouse or one of our retail branches.
Products shown as “Due In” are presently out of stock but we are expecting delivery in the future.
Products shown as “Phone to Pre-Order” are in short supply and therefore a pre-order will guarantee your chosen piece, although we cannot specify a delivery time.
